Kaylix and Sam April 27, 2009

Kaylix and Sam’s wedding this past weekend included such wonderful, romantic touches! It was held at Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank and the outdoor ceremony was highlighted by a large flowing waterfall and a gazebo.

First of all, the bride’s entrance was the most grand entrance that I have ever seen!  She rode into the ceremony site in a horse-drawn carriage by Enchanted Carriages. All of the guests were so surprised and her entrance just took their breath away that they started clapping as she arrived!

The ceremony was beautifully accompanied with music by the harpist, Julia Cunningham and Tatum Jones’ acoustic guitar with their melodic vocals provided a wonderful background during the unity candle ceremony.

It was so touching to see Kaylix get emotional as she honored her mom with flowers after the unity candle ceremony.

After they were pronounced husband and wife, off they rode into the sunset in their carriage!

It was a beautiful ceremony with such touching vows and I totally cried tears of joy for you!  Congratulations Kaylix and Sam!  I’m so happy for you!

Back from Disneyworld April 18, 2009

My husband and I have just returned from a week in Disneyworld! I don’t blame the thousands of couples who plan Disney weddings each year. There is just a wonderful aura around the place that really makes you feel like you’re at the happiest place on earth! And who wouldn’t love to be a princess (or a queen!) for a day with this castle as a background!

Disney is actually one of the most amazing locations to have a wedding or event. For many Disney fanatics, not only is it a “dream come true” but their level of service and excellence truly makes the day run very smoothly. I’m always very appreciative of vendors who go above and beyond their job and Disney is truly one of the best out there.

it’s my first post for dorothy rose weddings and i’m so excited!  i’ve been working on my website for the past couple years and not until now have i been able to actually finish it!  it should be ready to launch by the end of march and i truly appreciate all of the contributions that my previous clients have sent.  everyone has been so generous with submitting pictures and comments about my work and i really want all my clients to know that it’s such a pleasure creating such wonderful days of celebration with you and for you all!
